About Me

I am a mother of 4 wonderful children and wife to the most fantastic Warrant Officer in the US Army. We have 2 female fur babies; a Shih-Tzu and a Peek A Poo. Our daughter J is 19 and a sophomore at the University of Tennessee, our son R is 16 and wishes to one day become a robotics engineer, our son JW is 15 and very much into cooking and our youngest son T is 7 and he as with all kiddos his age has a multitude of interests. My hubby and I connected when we were 15 & 16 in 1993.

In my most recent career role I was the Director of Event Operations of a veteran focused career and military transition organization where I overseen the venue selection, catering, budgeting, marketing and many other aspects of the event planning process.
I have received many awards and accolades for my professional contributions to include an Award of Excellence for my contributions to the Army's recruiting mission and an Inclusion and Diversity Ambassador award from Edward Jones.  However, my most prized awards are the smiles, hugs and kisses from my family.

I have always been known as the fixer or problem solver.  I have yet to meet a problem I couldn't solve or find a resolution.  However while my husband was in Afghanistan I put a lot of my passions on the shelf. Once he return re-igniting my personal ambitions and passions became the problem I had to solve.

My daughter was always telling me mom you always have great advice and people love to talk to you. You should start a blog or website giving advice or review.  So I did.  What you will find here: reviews on products, places and services, family fun, family joys, family ups and downs. Great sales and deals when I find them. Great recipes when I find them.

The reason you will love this site.  I am real and honest.  I am the person who had a bad experience in a restaurant and run home to send corporate a letter. I am that person.  Real & Honest.
